Dean Hoffman, Project Coordinator

Dean has completed three years of a four year Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Regina and is currently enrolled in long distance education programs to complete the B.Sc. requirements and to receive his diploma in Forestry and Wildlife Conservation. Dean works in the Carlyle office as a Senior Technician / Project Coordinator. Dean has worked in the field of Environmental Sciences for over 25 years. Dean has experience in Phase l, ll and lll environmental assessments, environmental protection plans, impact assessments, wildlife and vegetation risk assessments, pre-construction site assessments, drilling waste management, site/flare pit reclamation and environmental auditing and monitoring. Dean's particular area of expertise is with environmental pre-construction assessments, protection plans, impact assessments and wildlife and plants impact assessments.

Dean carries certificates in Petroleum Safety Training, H2S Alive, First Aid, CPR, Ground Disturbance, WHMIS, TDG, OH & S - Level 1 and 2, Safety Excellence & Audit, Confined Space, NORMS and Regulatory Awareness for Well Site Supervision and carries a class 1A licence with a clean abstract, eGSO, Conflict Resolution, Fatigue Management, Fire Extinguisher and Defensive Driving.

Bob has obtained a diploma in Chemical Engineering Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary, Alberta. Bob has been employed with Evergreen since 2003 and coordinates projects from each of the field offices. Bob has worked in the field of Environmental Science for over 35 years. As a Project Coordinator Bob's duties involve overseeing a wide range of field environmental testing and clean-up operations, handling Phase 1 and 2 environmental assessments, environmental monitoring and impact assessments. Bob's particular area of expertise is water/waste water treatment and he has worked in the area of drilling waste disposal area since 1978.

Bob carries certificates in Petroleum Safety Training, H2S Alive, First Aid, CPR, WHMIS, TDG, Well Site Supervision, Confined Space Entry and Ground Disturbanceand OH & S level 1 and 2, eGSO, Conflict Resolution, Fatigue Management, Fire Extinguisher and Defensive Driving.



Richard Elsom, B.Sc., Dipl. Env. Sc., Environmental Scientist

Richard holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Lethbridge and also holds a Diploma in Renewable Resource Management from Lethbridge Community College. Richard has worked in the Environmental Sciences field since 2000 and the Environmental Enforcement field since 1994. Richard has experience in Phase l, ll and lll environmental assessments, environmental protection plans, impact assessments, wildlife and vegetation risk assessments, pre-construction site assessments, drilling waste management, site/flare pit reclamation, environmental auditing and monitoring, lease reclamation, cut & cap wellheads, and flowline abandonments. Richard's particular area of expertise is with environmental pre-construction assessments, protection plans, impact assessments and wildlife and plants impact assessments.

Danyelle Thompson, B.Sc.A, P.Ag., Professional Agrologist

Danyelle is a Professional Agrologist with the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists and completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan. She has been employed with Evergreen since 2005 and has been working in the Environmental Sciences field since 2003. Danyelle has experience in both field and report preparation for wildlife and vegetation risk assessments, pre-construction site assessments, site/ flare pit reclamation, Phase I and II environmental assessments, environmental monitoring, environmental protection plans, water well and gas migration testing, impact assessments and drilling waste management.

Danyelle carries certificates in Petroleum Safety Training, H2S Alive, First Aid & CPR Instructor, WHMIS, Ground Disturbance, Confined Space, TDG and ATV Safety Course. She also has completed the OH & S safety and supervision and OH & S level 1 and 2, Safety Excellence & Audit and NORMS, eGSO, Conflict Resolution, Fatigue Management, Fire Extinguisher and Defensive Driving.


Rita Marcinowski

Rita Marcinowski is an honours graduate from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Geographic Information Systems(GIS) in 2003. Rita has a background in ecology, conservation, and botony. She has extensive experience within the upstream oil and gas industry where she has independently undertaken various responsibilities including environmental site assessments, rare and endangered species surveys, preparation of Environmental Protection Plans and the monitoring of projects within environmentally sensitive areas. Rita also has experience in spill assessment and reclamation as well as well head gas migration testing.

Carmen Lawless

Carmen is an Environmental Scientist for Evergreen, with a four-year Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of Regina in 2008. She also has a background in agriculture with experience in crop inspection. Carmen has performed various pre-construction site assessments including projects on Crown and PFRA lands. In additiona to pre-construction site assessments, Carmen's duties also include Detailed Site Assessments prior to site abandonment, wildlife studies, and environmental monitoring.

She has worked with Evergreen since 2012. Mercedes also has a background in agriculture with experience in grazing management. Mercedes has experience in environmental impact assessments, creek crossings, wildlife & vegetation assessments, and phase 1 & detailed site assessments for abandonments.
